Lena in my mailbox!!!
Jan. 12th, 2004 03:43 pmThe postman just came and both of the Lena things I ordered came today! Including....are you ready for this? An NTSC dvd of Darkness with some special bonus features!!!!!
Eeeeeeeeek! I'm barely able to sit still I'm so excited! I know, I know, you're saying, "Where did you get this damn hard to find dvd?". Well, a person on Ebay, from Tawain, was auctioning it, but I didn't win it. So I e-mailed him if he had anymore and he said yeah, how many copies? Gah! And it wasn't a bad price at all - just 18 bucks including shipping and insurance.
My only fear was that he said it would play in most US dvd players, so I wasn't for positive it would work in mine. But.......it DOES!!! I just checked it out and it looks super!
Doesn't look like a bootleg, which was another of my fears after reading some of the negative feedback on his Ebay rating. And then in the last few days I got really worried because he was getting more and more negatives, some about items never arriving. But he had been very kind and prompt with emails to me, and much to my relief the dvd arrived safe and pretty quick. Phew!
Oh, here's the link to the dvd he had on Ebay a month ago. Drop him a line and see if you can order it!

Okay, and my other item that came is that issue of InStyle with that great feature on Lena and her house! YAY And as I suspected there was a little pic on the contents page, one that I hadn't seen before. I'm anxious to do my own scans of it and all the other pics in it. Hopefully they'll come out a little better than the ones that are currently on my site. Sweet!
