Mr. Clay Aiken puts on a heck of a show. Color me impressed. I went with my aunt to his concert in Houston last night - excellent floor seats btw. The guy can flat-out sing, and is a remarkably natural performer. He was very personable and funny, chatting with the crowd with ease, and didn't come off phony at all. Very natural, but totally in command too - great combination. His encore of "Solitare" was goosebump-good! I just don't get the squealing fangirl hysteria he incites. *shrug*
