Dec. 4th, 2004 08:07 pmYay, I finally got some Christmas shopping done! I feel much better now that I have gotten a good start on my Christmas list.
My mom and I decided to hit some shops today. We avoided the mall, and did really well at the places we went to. We were amazed at how quickly we got in and out of places - traffic wasn't horrible, we found what we were looking for and the lines weren't atrocious. The shopping gods were smiling upon us.
We got the cutest little red dress with matching booties and hat for my nephew's newborn daughter (I'm a great aunt now!). I think it might be a tad too big for her but it was much too adorable to pass up. Hee. She's gonna look so cute in it!
Afterwards we picked up some po-boys and headed over to my sister's to see her decorations. Her tree looks SO beautiful - a ton of the clear lights which I love. She had already shopped and wrapped many gifts so there were loads of presents under the tree already. Can't wait til Christmas Eve when we go over there to celebrate!
Had a couple of Lisa's very good Bloody Mary's (the vodka really sneaks up on me)and we played Trivial Pursuit - Lisa and I won! Go us. I'm really bad at the computer game questions though - totally clueless.
