my poor little kitty

My sweet baby girl Callie is feeling none too swift right now. Yesterday she got "fixed". Brought her home last night and she was very wobbly and groggy from the anaesthetic. So pitiful to see her try and walk and fall over instead!
She's doing a bit better today. More alert though still awfully worn out. I did manage to get her to eat some little cat treats and drink a bit of water. She's sitting up on the pallet I made for her right now, looking at me. Happily she doesn't seem to be holding a grudge against me for taking her to the vet! She's such a sweetie-pie.
Lulu, my other cat, is quite freaked out by all of this. She had a most traumatizing experience at the vet's a while back - it took a vet and three assistants to remove Lulu's stitches! My lord, the noises coming from that room were god-awful! I haven't had the guts to try and take her back for another checkup for fear she'll claw me to death. As it is, she went into hiding when I brought Callie home. She was hissing at me from under the bed, all because she caught site of the carrier I used for Callie.
Hopefully things will be back to normal shortly, and my two babies will be chasing each other around the house again.
