(no subject)

It's July 4th, but I've got nothing planned, which is okay with me. I am just not up to going down to the levee in this heat to wait around for the fireworks. Loved it as a kid, not so much these days.

Had a great meal and visit with my aunt last night. She invited me and my mom over for homecooked fried shrimp and oysters! Mmmmmmm. An offer no one in their right mind would refuse. Helped my aunt figure out how to upload and post pics of her crush, Clay Aiken - she is so cute with her enthusiasm for him. Cracks me up. Although I am nowhere near the fan she is, fortunately I like him well enough because she had to show us his GMA appearance on Tivo. I still don't get the sexy thing on him, but admittedly he looks way better than his AI days.

My dad's doing okay - some days bad, some days okay. Still driving me crazy with his medicine, especially when he moved the pill boxes and then couldn't remember where he moved them to!

In other family news, one certain member is totally on my shit list. Thanks for making me feel totally unwelcome, jerk.

Oh well, off to check my ebay bids on Claudia Cardinale items. :-)
