Ugh. Feel like crap today, my least favorite day of the month.
Went to the mall bright and early yesterday morning because they were giving away $25.00 shopping cards. Personally I didn't find this amount all that enticing but my sister and her daughter were all gung-ho on the idea so we and my mom all stood in line for an hour and a half to get our free bucks. I also won a free Chick-fil-A sandwich by spinning the Chick-fil-A wheel (Yes there is such a thing!) - the poor guy who was pushing that thing around the line looked so delighted with his job. :P
Then we hit the stores. Lisa and Lauren both got some cute little tops for great prices. Me, I went into Victoria's Secret and got me some comfy pink pajama pants. Didn't get a top because they were all those little small ones and I like to sleep in loose fitting jammies. I'll get a loose Snoopy tee to sleep in. Um, how old am I? LOL
Then I headed over to my dad's to put out his weekly medicine. I had just talked to him on the phone and told him I was coming over but when I get there, no answer. His car is there, so I pound on the door and ring the bell some more. Nothing. I get my key out (we all have keys now, ever since he locked himself outside one night, wearing only his boxers! Don't ask.), and open the door somewhat cautiously because, well, my dad has a gun. I know! A disaster waiting to happen We've tried convincing him to let us take it but that ain't happening. He thinks someone's been stealing from him and he needs it for protection. We keep telling him, it's very dangerous and he's going to end up shooting one of us. Well suffice it to say I didn't get shot. I walked in yelling out, "Dad! It's Michelle. Your daughter." and found him sound alseep in bed. So then I kinda fussed at him for scaring me like that. Really though we've gotta do something about the gun thing. Geez.
I'm not doing much of anything today. I added the Swedish article sammy translated to the site, and that's about it. All else I've got planned is to watch Desperate Hosewives tonight. Yes, I do live an exciting life. ;-)
