Apr. 7th, 2004 09:36 pmGot my Freaks and Geeks dvds today! I LOVE this show. There must've been a lot of other fans dying for this unjustly cancelled show to finally be released on dvd because I had a hard time finding a set since yesterday's release.
Stopped at Wal-mart last night figuring I'd pick them up there, but they looked at me like I was crazy when i asked them if they had it. So I come home, call another Wal-mart that's further from my house, the guy takes a look, comes back on the phone and tells me, "Darlin', the only freaks and geeks I see here are my employees."
LMAO! Wal-mart dude cracked me up. Circuit City and Best Buy were sold out, so today I went to Target, where thankfully they had a few sets - they probably didn't sell out because they were pricier than at the other stores, but oh well, at least they had them.
Just rewatched the pilot episode and, gah, it's sooooo good! Such an excellent cast and writing. What a pity this show got canned so early. Well, at least we've got the dvds, and they're loaded with extras!
Off to watch some more!
