(no subject)

It's been a lovely weekend so far. We've been having the most glorious spring weather, and of course down here, that means crawfish time! The prices have gone down a bit so last night I went to the seafood shop close by and bought some (already boiled - macho guys can mess with the boilers and all that - not moi), and boy were they yummy! Seasoned to perfection! I topped 'em off with a couple of frozen margaritas. Mmmmmmm...

Went ahead and did the yard work today. Suprisingly, I didn't wear myself out - apparently I am in better shape than I thought. Go me. After getting cleaned up, I had some strawberries with the oh so incredibly delicious marshmellow/cream cheese dip. Food heaven! Feeling all nice and stuffed I went out in the backyard and just relaxed in the hammock, swaying in the gentle breeze. It's so cute how the outside cats like to come and snooze right by me when I'm in the hammock. Even cuter is when one of the cats, Kate, decides to jump up in the hammock with me. She gets on her hind legs and moves back and forth waiting for the right moment to jump in, just like we used to do as kids when playing jump rope! :-)
